Self Care

Music

Listen to your favorite music to lift your spirits and lower stress.

Art

Take a trip to your local museum or sign up for a painting/sketching course. It is for fun, and you do not need to be an artist to enjoy it.   There are also online courses if you do not want to leave your house.

Gardening

Plant some seeds in a pot if you have little space or a small garden. It is great to be in the fresh air and watch nature take its course.

Well-Being and Happiness: Nurturing plants and watching them grow can bring joy and a sense of accomplishment. Gardening provides an opportunity for relaxation and stress reduction

Physical Exercise

We know that any form of exercise is good for us. Start with something small—a walk around the block.

Physical Health and Mental Health Connection: Better physical health often translates to improved mental health. Regular exercise can act as a buffer against stress and contribute to overall well-being.

Chats with friends

Meet up with a friend for a coffee chat. The next time you’re sipping on that warm cup of coffee, remember that you’re not just enjoying a beverage—you’re also nurturing relationships and creating opportunities!

Meditation

Meditation reduces stress and anxiety, enhances emotional healing, and promotes a calming effect.
